What’s the #1 thing that destroys marketers and salespeople? It’s the insane ups and downs. I remember working with a bunch of salespeople who were doing amazing. They were earning great commissions and everything was going well.
Then, the Christmas Holiday came around and customers stopped buying for a few weeks. They stopped working as hard, got depressed, and fell into a “sales slump.” Even though sales picked right back up in January, they were already “out of the game.”
Their performance never recovered, and a few months later they were let go for lack of performance. Salespeople are especially prone to this because their business has a lot more ups and downs. But marketers can be affected by this as well.
One day you’re riding high.
- Crushing it on sales.
- Making money hand over fist. 🤑
- Everyone loves you. You get an amazing testimonial.
- Your business is running smoothly in harmony.
- Your personal life is going good.
Life is good. You feel like the freakin man (or woman.) 🙌
The next day it all falls apart.
- Your funnel stops working.
- Your ads stop working.
- A key employee quits.
- Your spouse or kids complain you don’t spend enough time with them.
- Someone posts a negative review about your business.
It makes you want to scream! 🤬 Or give up. 😩
Here’s how to fix this.
Some people tell you to be “stoic” or “just learn to accept things.” Screw that.
Here’s what you should do instead. Get so good that the ups are so high that the downs don’t even affect you any more.
Make your marketing so powerful that the lows are your previous highs. (I know it’s possible because I’ve done it.) And start building your business and life to where it’s so amazing that the inevitable lows don’t bother you as much anymore.
Stop settling for mediocrity.
If you’re gonna go to work for 50 or 60 hours a week, you might as well work to achieve huge success.
- Get your funnels in tip top shape.
- Get your ads in tip top shape bringing in more leads for less money.
- Get your business and employees working like a well oiled machine.
- Get your fitness in order. (This is one area that can have a profound effect on the rest of your life.)
- Get your personal life in order.
If you want a real-life example of this, then look at Grant Cardone. He preaches the same thing with his whole 10X Concept.
I’m sure Grant has bad days.
- Sales lost.
- Customer complaints.
- Funnels that don’t work.
- Ads that stop converting.
- The list is probably endless.
But, he’s created so much success that those things can’t hold him back from having an amazing life. They might hurt for a little bit. But, they don’t stop him. And some are so minor that he doesn’t even feel them.
That’s my goal. If I’m going to work 50 or 60 hours a week, I’m going to have huge success. And it’s possible. I helped one client increase sales by 87% in 4 months – while lowering their CAC 19% – at the same time.
I’ve created so many “control” ads and sales emails that a “low” sales day barely ever comes around anymore. Yes, the sales fluctuate up and down. But, the highs more than make up for the lows.
This client improved their ads, funnels, and a whole bunch of other things. And all those things combined worked to double sales in a year. And I can help you with your ads – if it makes sense. So, if you need more high-converting ads for Facebook, Instagram, etc, then contact me.
I may have time available to help you. Thanks for reading.
Sincerely,
Ben Curry
