What’s the fastest and easiest way to get more sales from your Facebook Ads? I’ll give you a hint.
✔️ It’s not CBO -although it does help.
✔️ It’s not Ad Scheduling – although that does help.
✔️ It’s not Lead Ads. 🙄
✔️ It’s not Video Ads. They take way too much time to create. 😫
✔️ It’s not building a new funnel. (A good funnel is a ton of work!)
It’s none of those things. Instead…
The Easiest Way To Increase Sales Is:
👉 Better Ad Copy and Images 👈
How do I know this? Well, I personally manage over two million dollars in ad spend per year and I’ve tried everything possible to increase sales.
In my first 4 months managing ads full time, I was able to increase sales 87%, while lowering costs 19% – all at the same time.
I’ve tried a lot of different things to improve results:
- Revealbot. (Saved time.)
- CBO. (Saved time.)
- Ad Scheduling. (Lowered costs 5-10%.)
- Better Images. (Huge game changer.)
- Emojis. (I think they helped. But, I’ve never A/B Split Tested this.)
- Better Funnels. (I’ve worked with some amazing funnel builders and better funnels made a huge difference.)
But…
The most effective thing I did was create new ad copy.
I created dozens of new ads. A bunch of them beat the “Control” Ads and became the new “Control.” Many of those “Control” Ads are still running today. Here’s the deal.
You can’t manage a loser ad into a winner.
Look at Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. In 2020, Brady switched teams and won the Super Bowl – without Belichick. Even though Belichick is a great media buyer coach, he couldn’t overcome the loss of his best ad player.
Now, I’m not saying the Media Buyer doesn’t matter. They do! Otherwise, Belichick wouldn’t be paid $12.5 Million a year.
The Media Buyer and Media Buying Strategy make a huge difference in your advertising success. But…
If the ad copy isn’t compelling to the target audience, then a great Media Buyer won’t be able to make it work.
I know this from experience. I spent weeks psycho-managing an ad campaign. I managed to get decent results, but nothing amazing. Then, I added a powerful new ad to the mix and costs dropped by 20% right away.
I scaled that ad up, created some new ads, and now the CAC is about 20% lower than before. I never could have gotten those results simply from psycho-managing the previous ads.
So, if you want to get better results from your ad campaigns, stop spending so much time psycho-managing your ads. And start spending more time creating new ads.
